jer029
I have a helicopter on the top of the tower here. I have SCA and Global and Vector running. What might I do to correct this. Thanks
Jack Sawyer
LOL! That's hilarious, he's a very skilled chopper pilot to do that. I'm gonna see if I have it my FSX and P3D but I don't have SCA installed. Actually, I was wondering if this might be real because where I live I've seen cars way high up on stands to advertise, we have a Corvette mounted high like that here in the Atlanta area. Gotta check it out though.
Voyager
Yeah, you got it! I see it also: Cheers, Voyager
Jack Sawyer
Darn, since I don't have SCA but Global perhaps that's the reason I don't see it.
DAVIDF4
There really is a deactivated helicopter on a kind of a raised platform at Fullerton. It doesn't look quite as perched as in Jer's picture though, but it's in the same location. Full marks for attention to detail whilst still using existing scenery assets I guess, but the actual platform isn't as tall and spindly as that one. Just looked it up. It's an old Fire Authority Bell Huey, now set up as a hoist training rig. If I was to dare to quibble at all, I'd say drop the tower into the ground a bit to reduce its height and make the helicopter a red and white one to match the fire markings on the real one. But really, it's cool that it's there at all for me.
jer029
Thanks...I'll take it as a part of the real airport scene then. John
spud
Up close it is definitely a mounted training aid as DavidF4 says.
