active Waves since LC's and Vector

I don't know why this is happening and I don't know if this is related  but since I installed both LC's and Vector I get intermittent animated waves.  I'll be flying over coastline and I'll get the waves for exactly two seconds then they disappear.

Adding more scenery and thus more "stuff" for the sim to process probably causes the higher rate of effect file drop-outs/resets.

Yup, that must be it.  Because that's exactly what happens as described from way back in 2010!  Six years ago.

This summer I plan on upgrading to P3D, does it have the same "hiccup" effect?

It doesn't matter really, just curious.  At least again I know it's not something messed up with my installation.
