Hotspot
http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/image/GNZ1 Taking off from Geneva over the lake, winter scenery appears as patches, even on the lake itself. This effect is present when set to Global and also Europe. The lookup files (as per Ed's pinned advice above) are correct, being the same in both places he mentioned. Stillwater
Questions like these ocur from time to time here. Do you... - have your sceneries in the right order in the scenery database? - use the latest orbxlibs?
Nick Cooper
You might try un-ticking the Vector frozen water option and the land based effect may just be the way that changing seasons are handled by FSX, ie not very well.
Hotspot
Thanks Nick and Stillwater, Libraries were up to date, with scenery having FTX and OLC on top, so unticked the water option in Vector Configurator - et voila - no patches on winter lake surface - assume all well now - Thanks for the prompt responses.
