spacecollector
When I download FTX freeware global airports, I'm asked to select a version to download, but it doesn't give me any options of the versions. Does anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
Scott Harmes
Just left click on the freeware you want to download and you will be given an option of where to download from. There will only be one installer no matter which version you want, the choice you are given at download is just which method of download you want to use. You will end up with the same file no matter your choice here. Once you have downloaded the file, and unzipped the installer, run the installer and you will be given a choice of which version of FSX or P3D you would like to install to. spacecollector
When I do that it says that I need the latest orbx libraries, which is another installer. But when I run ether installer it doesn't give me an option of FSX of P3D.
Nick Cooper
Which simulator(s) do you have installed, FSX and P3D? You may be lacking registry entries.
spacecollector
FSX Steam Edition
Nick Cooper
Try going to this page, download the FSX Registry Utility and use it to set the registry entries for your FSX Steam Edition. This should allow the installers to give you the FSX option.
spacecollector
What should I set that to?
Nick Cooper
You should use the utility to navigate to your FSX folder and set that location in the registry. It will be something like this,............... \steamapps\common\FSX what you have written where the dots are depending on where you have installed it.
