Vector missing from scenery list in FSX

Recommended Posts

HI all,

My reinstallation of FSX is continuing. I started with FTX Global, followed by both Euro and NA Landclass files. Then I installed Vector 1.30 on a fresh DL from flightsimstore, followed by the 1.35 patch. All looks good when flying, But, though Vector is listed as installed in FTX Central, and the AEC appears to work, there are no signs of any of the Vector files in my FSX scenery list. I know they should be showing, but they are not. Is there a solution, other than to uninstall and reinstall Vector? I got the following problem report number from FTX Central:

ote6616b508f53370df49dbddb3b8f8f24

Thanks for any assistance.

I see you don't have the Vector scenery library entries.

The installer should have added them, but you can also

do this yourself.

Please use the Windows File Explorer to navigate to

your ORBX\Scripts folder where you will see

FTXConfigurator_VECTOR.exe.

Right click on this file and select Run as an administrator.

You will see almost nothing but this will add the Vector entries

to your scenery.cfg file.

I'm not sure how Vector and Ultimate Terrain will get on though.
