fabs79
Hi guys, according to german freeware developers Flightport, a new law in the german federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate (which happens to be my home) allows free use of 40 cm resolution aerial orthoimages for any purpose including commercial use. So if any of the talented ORBX staff is interested in developing a FTX Global airport for this beautiful part of Germany, I´d be excited. The only disadvantage is that the elections in Rhineland-Palatinate this summer could change political majorities and the new local government might cancel the law passed by the social-democratic party. So here`s the link! http://www.lvermgeo.rlp.de/index.php?id=7186 Cheers, Fabian

Luke Stirling
I wonder if there's a way to get this data into SBuilderX. This looks like it could be quite useful, but either my terrible German is hampering me, or downloading the imagery directly from the site is tedious. fabs79
I'll try to look into this, but considering the site is maintained by a german authority, tedious is only one of the words that will come to a user's mind ;-)
