active FSX & P3D Dual Installation Question.

I am currently using FSX (in DX10 Fixer mode) which is installed on its own separate SSD. I intend to keep FSX as a simulation platform, but am in the process of installing P3D v3 on my computer.  My P3D Install is also on it own seperate SSD.  I am in the process of downloading the updated P3D installers from my FSS account. I have a couple of questions. .

 

Is there a preferred order for installing FTX products into P3D?

• Global Products
• Regions
• Airports

 

When I install FTX product into P3D, will the installer create a separate control panel for managing the P3D FTX installed content?

Any other considerations or suggestions appreciated.

The installation order you have listed is satisfactory.

When you have installed P3D, FTX Central should gain a start menu, offering the choice

of FSX or P3D.

Once you have made your choice, the files for that simulator will be manipulated.

Thanks for clarifying how FTX Central will work.  I wasn't sure what to expect.
