mazelda
Appologies if this has been asked already I'm in the process of updating to P3dv3 and have done a complete uninstall of my previous P3dv2.5 I've just installed my global, vector and europe LCand now I'm starting to reinstall all my regions. So far I've only installed Australia but I've noticed that this area disappears from my scenery library in P3d if I have global set in FTX Central.and reappears if Oceania is set, Is this normal? When I had P3d2.5 installed all my scenery regions showed up in my Scenery Library no matter what I had selected in FTX Central. Is this a P3d thing or FTX Central Thanks
Nick Cooper
What you are seeing now is as it should be. As far as the scenery library is concerned, there are only two FTX Central settings. Global, where all addon airports, Vector and OpenLC are active and any other setting, Hybrid, North America, Europe, Oceania, when all entries are active. FTX Central only writes to the scenery library when Apply Group is clicked.
mazelda
Ah ok thanks If I have hybrid selected then will I loose any of the detail from the dedicated Ftx areas ? eg flying from say Northern California to New York NCA which I own and any New York area airport that would be a global area thanks
Nick Cooper
You will lose some small details but you probably won't notice. I certainly don't.
