dougal Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 I'm having a problem on my PC that's causing FTX Central to fail and would be very grateful if anyone here can help me solve it please.... The Windows7(x64) and P3Dv3 installations are only a week old. UAC and Windows Defender have been FULLY disiabled and there's currently no anti virus software installed. I am also the only user, which shows as 'Administrator'. Orbx regions and FTX Central appear to install just fine, but when selecting switch region in FTXCentral, FTX reports: Error switching rigion - Access to 'F:\P3Dv3\ORBX\Scripts\Backup\restore.bat' is denied. Adam Banks Posted November 22, 2015 Share Posted November 22, 2015 I've had this exact problem as well (never had it with FSX or P3Dv2.5). I found that just flipping back and forth between different areas made it go away. I also have UAC disabled. I have the feeling that the message may really be "Cannot find ... restore.bat" (and therefore doesn't need to show) - as the file seems to get created after flipping areas. Adam.
