pnwoodward
Hello I know this topic has been covered sporadically in the past. Just wondering if ORBX has come up with a solution to the black squares that appear (scenery lighting) in all their payware scenery when DX10 is activated in FSX SE? Is the best solution still Steves DX10 fixer or has there been some work completed on a patch/upgrade? I am running an AMD CPU / GPU setup . Chunk
You need the DX10 fixer to fix that, period.
Doug Sawatzky
Yes, the only solution is the DX10 Fixer.....also, the latest AMD GPU drivers will not work with DX10, they will produce massive artifacting just as you get settled into a flight and think every thing is great, only the 12.8 version AMD GPU driver works with DX10.... Alex Goff
There is no solution, DX10 Preview mode cannot display partially transparent autogen with lightmaps unless it is modified using a utility like Steve's Fixer.
