Our next exciting mesh product for Microsoft Flight Simulator takes us to the big and beautiful expanse of Alaska!

Using the same technique seen with our successful NZ Mesh and free Iceland Mesh products, Alaska Mesh utilises the best available US government elevation data for Alaska, with up to 5m resolution.
Alaska Mesh is a fully self-contained product with no changes made to the default mesh or any other files. With virtually no noticeable performance impact, each LOD is consistent without any blurring and minimal LOD morphing.

The issue introduced with SU:5 of seeing the sim freezing when loading EGLC with London Landmarks installed (via the Marketplace) should be resolved with this update. We continue to work with the MS team as they test this content.

Hausen am Albis airfield is located about 14 kilometers south of Zurich. The resident clubs and companies offer motor and glider operations, flight schools and aircraft maintenance. The airfield is an "R" airfield ("restricted"). External pilots need a permit to land in Hausen. Hausen Am Albis airport is also a host of various aero-modelling exhibitions.
The airport has two parallel runways, paved and grass. The grass runway is often used by gliders that are very common in the area.

Splendidly Superior.
One of the most iconic aircraft from the Pacific theatre of WWII, the Corsair was also arguably one of the best performing. Deployed primarily with the US Marines, the aircraft achieved a staggering 2,140 air combat victories against 189 aerial losses - an overall kill ratio of 11:1. The Corsair also carried over 70% of the total bombs dropped by US fighter aircraft during that conflict, flying just over 64,000 sorties combined.
It's really no surprise that such feats required an exceptional aircraft, which the Corsair indeed was. Powered by the 2000 hp R-2800 Double Wasp coupled to a huge three blade propeller that measured 13 feet and 4 inches, the aircraft was a fair bit faster than the F6F Hellcat and only slightly slower than the P-47 Thunderbolt, with the difference more than acceptable considering that top speed on the P-47 was reached at an altitude of 30,000 feet, while the supercharged Corsair reached it's maximum speed at 19,900 feet!
Our Corsair is loosely based on a FG-1D that was produced too late for active service in WWII; BuNo. 92132 spent its naval career in the Reserves before it was retired in 1957. Brought back to life in the 70's for a brief stint in the television show Baa Baa Black Sheep (later syndicated as Black Sheep Squadron), this particular aircraft then languished again for a few decades before being acquired by the Tri-State Warbird Museum in Batavia, Ohio, where it is now being lovingly restored to original condition.

EGPB is the main airport serving Shetland in Scotland and is located on the southern tip of the mainland. The airport features a helicopter runway and the western end of RWY09 crosses the main road between Sumburgh and the northern mainland, with access controlled in real life by a level crossing with barriers closing whenever a flight is taking off or landing.

Our contemporary version of Brisbane Airport which captured the atmosphere and feeling of this busy international airport in the heart of Queensland, Australia is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Serving as the primary international airport in Queensland, over 30 airlines fly to almost 80 destinations from Brisbane to all over Australia, Asia, and the Americas. By far the largest airline at Brisbane Airport is Qantas with a staggering 700 scheduled flights a week.
Brisbane Airport is the work of our experienced team in Havant who have overhauled the airport with a considerable number of updates since our original 2010 release on the ESP platform, effectively rebuilding the airport from scratch. Built using current modelling techniques, Physically Based Rendering (PBR) complements our realistic models with highly detailed textures.
YBBN Brisbane Airport v2 brings the airport to today’s standard with an accurate layout of all taxiways and airport buildings. This includes the new parallel runway (01L/19R) that opened one year ago.
Customers with Brisbane Airport v1 (FSX/P3D) in their OrbxDirect account will be able to take advantage of a 50% discount when purchasing Brisbane Airport v2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Customers with only YBBN v2 (P3D) in their account will be eligible for a 20% discount.

SamScene3D New York City Times for Microsoft Flight Simulator now available on OrbxDirect!
The scenery features over 250 custom iconic buildings with many famous museums, malls, hotels and towers. Along with the detailed Times Square with its animated billboards, SamScene3D have added back in many missing buildings and enhance the photogrammetry experience in-sim. Also included are the famous Manhattan, Brooklyn, Williamsburg and Queensboro Bridges, all recreated in high detail.
