Hi all, an update to Cityscape Sydney is now available. This patch seeks to resolve issues with customers using FlyTampa's YSSY purchased directly from FlyTampa.
Cityscape Sydney is placed above the airport YSSY in the scenery order and while this works great when everything is installed via Orbx Central, this has caused some irritations when FT YSSY was purchased directly from FlyTampa.
Therefore, here is a workaround on how the two sceneries can still work together:
- Make sure you have the latest version of FlyTampa YSSY installed
- Also ensure 1.1.0 CS Sydney is installed
- In the CS Sydney configuration panel ensure the 'FlyTampa YSSY Sydney Mode' option is enabled
In the FT scenery folder you will need to disable the following two files (move them to another directory or rename the file extension to 'OFF')
- Sydney_Photo.bgl
- Sydney_Photolm.bgl
Unfortunately this renaming cannot be automated by Orbx Central due the various disk locations that the scenery can be installed to.

FreedomFox
FreedomFox for MSFS was built by Parallel 42 (//42) in collaboration with aviation YouTuber Trent Palmer. "FreedomFox" started off as a Series 5 Kitfox STi. The "STi" stands for STOL Inspired, which is Kitfox Aircraft's "short take-off and landing" specific wing and landing gear package. The FreedomFox is running a Rotax 915iS Turbocharged/Fuel Injected engine, Beringer Aero wheels & brakes, dual Garmin units, and other custom modifications. Parallel 42 will continue to track the evolution of FreedomFox, and feature updates will be available as long as the sim enables it. Our team worked hard to ensure this representation of FreedomFox behaves as Trent says it should, and having tested it himself, Trent's signature on the dash validates our final product.Fox2

Aerocaches - Aerocaches are a global treasure hunt. You’ll be given a clue, and the general area to look in. Discover the floating Volanta symbol and fly through it to capture that Aerocache, dynamically injected into all 3 major simulator platforms. (P3D, X-Plane, MSFS). On your journey you will discover new places you may not have seen before, and learn more about the world we live in. Sharpen your flying and detective skills to find all of the Aerocaches we’ve hidden around the world.
Online Network Events - Want to know where you can catch some great controlling on VATSIM or IVAO? Head over to our Events page to see all the online network events in a simple list, visualized on our powerful map. Use the “I’m Going” feature to ensure you never miss another event again, with notifications being sent out 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Lots more time for cockpit preparation checks!
Scenery Map - In Volanta v1.2, you can scan supported simulators (MSFS, P3D, XP) and display your installed scenery on the Volanta map. Like most of Volanta, you’ll be able to view your scenery from the web and mobile too.
Activities tab - The “Challenges” page has been overhauled and replaced with “Activities”. This page will act as a hub for Volanta-powered experiences. You can discover new places to fly with Aerocaches, find new events on both multiplayer networks and Volanta, as well as searching comprehensive real-world schedules for our premium subscribers - with loads more to come.

Volanta Persistence - Aircraft in the sim don’t have a history - it’s like flying a factory-new aircraft every time. With Volanta Premium’s aircraft persistence (powered by smart autosave), you can load your aircraft exactly where you left it from a previous flight. Retaining aircraft position, fuel, switch states, lever positions, etc. Currently available in FSX, Prepar3D, and MSFS. Not all third-party aircraft may be supported as saving/loading of panel state can differ by aircraft. Note: If an aircraft works with the simulator's default save/load function, it will work with Volanta.

Welcome to Rovaniemi, the official airport of Santa Claus!
Rovaniemi Airport is the third busiest airport in Finland, located about 10 kilometers (6nm) from the city center. The Arctic Circle crossed the airport runway at its northern end!
Rovaniemi is known for Santa Claus Village and Santa Park located near the airport as well as very cold winters and demanding weather conditions. It's served on a regular basis by Finnair and Norwegian. However, there are many seasonal operators like Aer Lingus, Air France, easyJet, Edelweiss Air, Enter Air, Eurowings, Jet2, LOT, Transavia, TUI and Turkish Airlines.
