From the very talented Matteo Veneziani, we are pleased to announce his next project which is one of Europe's most popular holiday destinations.
As part of the Sporades archipelago in the Aegean Sea, Skiathos is best known for its beaches and vibrant, youth-driven nightlife scene. All the action centres around Skiathos Town, where bars and restaurants spill onto sidewalks and there are open-air, waterfront clubs between the town and the airport.
Named after one of Greece's most influential novelists, Alexandros Papadiamantis Airport is among the most iconic plane spotting locations in Europe, exciting both locals and aviation enthusiasts. As a popular holiday destination, the airport sees an increase in traffic in the summer months from destinations like Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, Edinburgh and Vienna.
The scenery encompasses both the airport in complete detail, as well the as the entire island with custom buildings, hotels and other landmarks that are waiting to be explored. Brand new 50cm custom aerial imagery has also been used for the airport for an up to date depiction of its layout as well as custom GSE and static aircraft.

ENSD Sandane Airport is out now for Microsoft Flight Simulator! The timing couldn’t be better as the spooky season creeps in. This airport has been consistently named one of the scariest approaches in the world, and we can’t wait for you to see why. This one is a treat for novices and experts alike.
From Andreas Hegi's desk, following his release of ENSG Sogndal, we are pleased to announce the Scandinavian destination of ENSD Sandane, a small regional airport near the city of Sandane in western Norway.
The airport has a detailed yet simple-to-navigate layout, with many additional features added to enhance the visual appeal with everything created from scratch to ensure a truly realistic airport experience in this rugged part of the world.
The airport serves Widerøe's Dash 8-100 regional flights to Sogndal and Oslo and was voted on the world's top 20 scariest approaches in 2009 and has made several “scariest airport” lists in the years since.

Auckland hardly needs an introduction given its stunning bayside location on the North Island of New Zealand and its famous buildings and structures. No wonder it is frequently ranked among the world’s topmost livable cities.

Available now from CanadianFlightSimStudios is CYAZ Tofino/Long Beach Airport for both Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane 11.
Fly through Pacific Rim National Park Reserve and experience the vast ocean views and stunning coastline Tofino/Longbeach has to offer. With CYAZ located right next to the iconic Long Beach, this scenery is perfect for any VFR adventurist, or the IFR enthusiast looking for a challenging foggy approach. Tofino/long beach airport was built in 1943 during WWII as RCAF Station Tofino alongside the construction of Radar Hill just north of the airfield.
The airfield was used by few squadrons during its service from 1943-1945. In 1955 The airfield was opened again to be used by NORAD in the Pine Tree Line all the way until 1958. Up until 2010, the airport remained very quiet with only a few general aviation hangars. Since 2010 Tofino has gotten many upgrades such as resurfacing runway 11/29 as well as added night lighting. A brand new Terminal and maintenance building was also built to accommodate multiple regional airlines including Pacific Coastal to assist in the large increase of tourism traffic. With many regional flights and increased GA traffic, Tofino is the perfect destination only a short flight away from KSEA, CYVR, or CYYJ.
Our Rendition of CYAZ - Tofino/Longbeach airport includes many small details as well as highly detailed buildings and accurately modelled runways and markings. All work was done with reference taken on-site to ensure the most up to date, accurate scenery was modelled.

Visby Airport is the main airport for the island of Gotland. With an ancient history, beautiful nature and usually slightly better weather than the rest of the country, it has become a popular tourist destination among Swedes to get away for the weekend.

Another twin-engined classic and an American legend.
The Electra was Lockheed's first twin-engine, all-metal design (designed by Lloyd Stearman ... yes that Stearman !) which first felt the air under its wings in 1935. A highly modified Model 10 E was made famous by Amelia Earhart who tragically disappeared during a round-the-world record attempt. The Electra is so evocative of the '30s and '40s and appeared in many movies, carrying Humphry Bogart to some distant Pacific island or later battling valiantly pressed into military service during WW2.

This one is special for us here at Orbx. We're pleased to announce that YMEN Essendon Airport is now available for X-Plane 11.
Established in 1921, Essendon Airport is Australia's second oldest international airport after Sydney and marks its centenary this year. Now known as Essendon Fields Airport, it plays a very important role in the aviation sector for Victoria and hosts a large mix of non-aviation-related businesses. It is also the home to the Australian headquarters for Orbx.
Originally called St Johns Airfield and then Essendon Aerodrome, the airport played an important role in Australia’s growing civil aviation industry as well as defense operations during WWII.

As passenger services grew, Essendon operated as Melbourne’s international airport from 1950 until 1970 when the present-day Melbourne International Airport opened in the neighboring suburb of Tullamarine.
