Hmmm, doesn't seem to be the actual case though.
For example there are no DExx airports in the global pack.
This older reference is about the only one I could find that lists EU airports where plenty of DExx airports are included, also there was a text file available from an Orbx link however I cannot access it (or it's gone).

Personally - that's one ugly plane... heh

A bit of a mix and match set.
Some Australian flying in the Commanche, the DA62 and the Tecnam Sierra, followed by a couple of Beachcraft B60 Duke shots in England.

Title says it all, I know it existed because I have a backup but I do not see it in Central at all for any of the ESP based sims.

Been away from these forums for a while...
Basically since the marking of the support forums as read only and with the Community Help forums not publicly exposed, means there is no opportunity for a quick glance to see if anything is of interest and then logging in...
By hey that's management for you 😉
I anycase I spent a few $$ during the recent Orbx sales and below are some pics highlighting BIKF Kevflavik and the surrounding area, it's a pretty nice airport by MKStudios.

First in the Blackbird DHC3
Then the Porter PC6.
Also the C421C Golden Eagle.
This one would have been at BIRK.
And where I eventually put down, because why not park your plane outside your house 🙂
On the ground @ BIKF in the Chevy Suburban.
And finally a couple of my Lear.

I've been working through adding liveries to the PC12 and came across this quite interesting one.

Also been tuning cloud shadows.

Thanks Nick,
No joy on those files though, infact I performed a ransack regex search of P3D / Orbx related locations and couldn't find any references what so ever.
I temp disabled the Object Flow dll and the P3D popups stopped, but then of course there are a lot of blank and empty airports without Object Flow enabled.
Anyway, to cut it all short I pulled the trigger on the Resync option in Central which took quite some time to run through, much longer than I expected.
Post Resync completion all was good, no more popups from P3D and no more dups of Object Flow people etc.
No more of these fallout affected deer @ 11S

Ok, so backstory.
I moved the main Orbx scenery libraries from H: to E:
Library paths were updated via Orbx Central.
I copied the contents from H: to E: because I've made many fixes and don't want them overwritten by Central.
Everything has been fine apart from the wierd doubling of Object Flow items
Have run extensive checks post move for pathing updates and haven't found anything that hasn't been updated to the new path reference.
I did leave the original items in the H: location just until I get everything working fine and have run a full backup.
Today I renamed the original path in case there was something reading the old path still, and it turns out this looks to be the issue.
With the original path renamed I see the following when P3D reaches ~80% scenery loading.
Path Not Found:
H:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\H:\P3D_Addons\04.Scenery\Orbx\Airports\p3dv4\2B2-6B6 Plum Island Airport & Minute Man Air Field\Orbx\FTX_NA\FTX_AA_2B2-6B6\Scenery\*_objectflow.xml
I click Ok and the next inline path error occurs.
But for the life of me I cannot find where P3D might be getting the path from.
Even the ObjectFlow.log doesn't reflect any path issues.

A collection of recent flights.
A 737 MAX taxiing out.
Flying the Cessna C441 Conquest II
Gippsland way in Aust.
Catalina in the Goose.
just the Goose
Don't remember the airport, but it's the A2A cub with the chatty passenger
The Ant Tiger Moth, at the same airport
Either flying to or out of the airport above.
This one is flying out of 11S, one of my fav small PNW APs
Heading to Hamilton Victoria.
The Grampians Victoria.
Pula ?
Area around Pula ?
Florida for sure :-)
American Samoa, blew an engine and forced landing.
Testing a newly added Oxygen supply to the A2A C182, if only I had remembered to fill the bottle prior to takeoff.
This flight ended badly, I took it up till I passed out, and by the time I awoke, the plane was in a spinning nose dive I could not recover from.
Over Gisborne NZ
Heading to Melbourne Aust.
That's all folks

Looks like multiple airports overlayered on each othter.
If you have Little Nav Map and select the airport to display the information of the airport, it will show the files being used.
Also get yourself P3D Addon Organiser, you can get everything nicely ordered.
Then again Orbx Central should organise things of it's own accord provided you set the Settings | Simulator | Insertion Point
I choose the top of P3D's list for the Airports and Regions and have created an empty scenery folder to "mark" the point so to speak.

Has anyone seen this wierd people flow doubling happening previously ?
Any ideas on potential cause / resolution ?

Tried upping this value ?
(snip from the P3D SDK)
[GRAPHICS]
MAX_TEXTURE_REQUEST_DISTANCE = 1000
This setting can be used to change the distance that is used to request textures of aircrafts and library objects that are not visible. This prevents the objects from rendering with a black texture when looking at it after it has been out of view for a certain amount of time. The larger the distance the more graphics memory that is required.
I also have these notes passed from the P3D deveopers.
// MAX_TEXTURE_REQUEST_DISTANCE There's no cap on this value itself because it's intended as a limit.
// If you want textures requesting aggressively, you can set it something very high like 1000000.
// Units are memory allocation units (not distance).
// There are two other checks that must pass before textures are requested:
// 1) Object is within the far clip distance. This varies by altitude.
// 2) Object pixel size at a given distance passes min radius check. This we made configurable in 4.3 using RS_MIN_OBJECT_PIXEL_RADIUS. (default is 2.0px)And here is a vid link.

Testing my modded B350i (new engines (Blackhawk PT-6-67A), flight model, GTN 750 and various other changes / fixes), with a flight along the South Eastern side of Africa (also with Orbx's openLC Africa).
Here's the GTN
Also tweeking the cloud shader as I go, I want those shadows to be just right.
The African lc is pretty reasonable overall.
There were a few thunderstorms along the way, quite a lot of turbulance and the plane was rocken and rollen all over the place.
Further cloud tweeking, this time the shading of the far distance clouds, making them just a tad redder.
Where I am.
And that's all folks :-)
Good flight, corrected a few niggling issues with the B350i and adjusted the cloud shader, and will probably make further changes once I better understand what does what in the shader code.

What's your H/W specs ?
I ask because YBBN v2 is very heavy on GPU use, on my 3080Ti it uses almost 10.5 GB of VRAM and will readily max the GPU to 98~100 %.
And yeah I do have some of the more advanced bits and bobs disabled in the YBBN config and have tuned the P3D config to achieve a 30 fps vsync (just achievable) without too much sacrifice.
Additionally there are many 3D objects quite close, Brisbane itself to the south, additonal airports to the north and all demanding their share of proximity processing power.

Thanks folks, the new GFX card is certainly getting a workout.

Five years have passed since I last bought a GFX card and in that time a lot has changed.
I keep an eye open for what's on the market and have been saving for a while awaiting a time to buy.
Well that time recently came into being with a $200.00 price drop on the card I was after (an ASUS TUF 3080Ti).
And just a few pics while testing and tuning the new card which has allowed me to ramp up GFX settings to levels I could never previously run.

Just a couple of shots in the Outback, lots of nothing in outback Australia, still... makes for some nice pics.
This one is the Pacific NorthWest USA.
Not sure where this one is, but looks like a nice spot to be.

Hmmm, not seeing it myself, (I'm on 4.5), although I do have Buildings HD, Global Base, Vector, OpenLC NA.
I used to see a lot of black buildings till I set the value below (default is 1000.000000) which I believe does apply to v5 as well.
[GRAPHICS]
MAX_TEXTURE_REQUEST_DISTANCE=320000.000000
Perhaps they have not loaded due to the small default sizing ? and the proximity of other gfx items ?
Or that yes there are issues with the textures in the installer, which wouldn't be a first time...
This is what I see.
And the area is as per the map.

Hi Graeme,
Seems I have trouble with engines and keeping them running...
Will I make it to an emergency landing area hint... nope.
Ran out of time and height, but I'm not so hardcore that I'd repurchase the addin just because I crashed and burned :-)
