beautiful little guy Iain, and really sorry to hear about his problem. Stella one of our Bassetts has had three removed and she's still hanging in there. I'm sure he will be fine, give him and your family our love

Nice shots Don. There is a patch available at flightsim.to which installs the G1000 to the King Air instead of that ugly G3000.

Works well for me, better to handle and also looks much better.

Thanks mate, I've been a bit reluctant to go to FS.to, last time I got a heap of problems with the downloads

Glad you came out of it with no major damage Don. It was literally an hour ago my wife had the same experience. We have just got back from walking Zimbee on the beach where my wife was face planted in the wet sand due to a stray ball passing by. There're strong theses four legged friends!

    Cheers

    Graeme :)

Thanks Graeme. Feel sorry for your wife, a face full of sand - not good, she having "grits: for dinner? What sort of dog is Zimbee, big, medium, small. A good size by the sound of it.

Neither of your dogs seem to concerned about it Don.

Max looks an adorable dog and probably has a cheeky side,

    which works in his favour.

Glad your ok mate. I notice you never mentioned anything about

oh lets say, a bruised ego.

    cheers

    Gumby

He's too  gorgeous mate, and the ego, very bruised when you have to have two ladies get you back on your feet, and very nice ones at that 😉

I can just see you, Don -- "WHOA! WHOA!" It would be a good laugh except for the damage done. Hope you heal quickly.

Yeah what's a bit of skin, 🙄 the fingers a bit of a drama, going for an xray this week. Didn't like the docs comment " yeah that looks a bit nasty" after he stopped laughing when I told him how it happened.

  6. Couple of weeks ago, I took Max for a walk - normally okay. He is a bit of a handful as he likes to pull when something gets his attention, like sniffing a post when....well you know.

Anyway, I stopped to let another guy with his little dog walk by,, yet all good, until Max spotted a stray dog further down the street, it had got out of somebody's yard no collar or tags.

Max decided to go and say hello which caught me off guard and off balance, the next thing I'm being dragged along the footpath on hands and knees by a 50kilo black Labrador in full

flight. If it had not been for two lovely ladies who stopped and ran to my aid, I might have been still there, as I couldn't get up. End result two skinned knees, two skinned elbows, a bruised hip and a dislocated middle finger on my left hand. IS he in the sh*t, no, he was just being a dog, and part blame to me, because of my health I don't get to walk him a lot, and he gets pretty excited when he goes out. I paid $500 to have him trained so I expect him to have better manners.

But, check the photo, he's big, he's black and beautiful - I love him even after the loss of skin. 😀

  7. I did a couple of flight from Toowomba YTWB TO The Gold Coast YBCG. about 112 nm. To those who aren't    familiar with Australia terrain, YTWB is is bush  terrrtory

Nothing special here, just proving I'm back in the air. 😁

The order of these is all wrong, for whatever reason the system, wouldn't work correctly, and I cou;ldn't space them and they went up in a incorrect order.  Anyway....here they are, I'm flying again.

Thanks Iain, yep it's been dragging on a bit, but I think I've turned the corner - hopefully, I guess at 86 it doesn't happen overnight.
