The 245 Kenyans were reprisals by Idi Amin for the rescue attempt, the blame lays with him and nobody else. 3000 Kenyans had to flee Uganda because of his reprisals. Maybe if Idi Amin hadn't sided with the terrorists to start with, there would have been a much more positive result

A few stats on this. 248 passengers were hijacked on an Air France Airbus A300. 148 non Jewish hostages were released by Idi Amin and the hijackers who were working together. That left 100 hostages plus 6 Air France crew. 102 survived, three were killed. 5 commandos were injured and their Commander also died, who was also the elder brother of the man who would later become Prime Minister of Israel . All the hijackers were killed, plus 45 Ugandan army personnel. Those are the hard facts. It's sad that some of the hostages died obviously, but as rescues go from a military standpoint, on the whole it can be counted as a success.

Tiny bit warmer today, so managed to take off from Ketchikan, and am now on my way to Anchorage. Heaters are at full blast, -7c outside. Currently the weather is simply too rubbish to take off. I can't see out of my cockpit at all. I'll wait until it warms up a few degrees and then give it a go

For me it's not the same. I like to use real weather. I mean last week when i landed, you could see the river, now it's just iced up which looks great. When there's ice on my cockpit on the ground, i'll just wait until it clears. Plenty of other flights to do until the weather changes at Ketchikan

Currently doing a round the world trip in a Just Flight Piper Arrow III. Parked up at PAKT Ketchikan Airport. Decided to carry on today with my journey to Alaska, loaded in the sim, set everything up and was greeted by this. Wasn't like this when i landed i can assure you. Clearly winter has come. Think i'll fly somewhere different instead

That's because you haven't installed it yet. You can download the installer but have to wait until tomorrow to install the program. When i had the beta running it showed up in Orbx Central as it was a fully installed version of MFS. Now i've uninstalled my beta, MFS doesn't show up for me either on Orbx Central.

Nothing is compatible from FSX, it's that simple. Not aircraft, not scenery. It's a new game engine for FS 2020. I've tried to add the old Cessna for a laugh in the Alpha. It didn't go well. You will have to buy new versions of sceneries and other planes if you want to run them in the new flight sim

I thought an updated LOWI is included in the standard edition of FS2020 *** Never mind, already answered ***

I'll wait until the full version of Traffic Global is released. I bought the 'early access' version over 18 months ago, and it's still not finished. Asked for my money back in the end.
