Excellent Martyn.  How accurate are the cockpit avionics?  Asking for a friend.

Thanks Jack. I don't know about the accuracy but I don't think it would be suitable for your friend!;)

  2. C for sure.

I did a half day trip to Mount Rainier and I didn't want to go back to where I was staying as I loved the scenery so much.

The view from the trail we took as well as all the wildlife was just heaven to me.

It was strange, the first place I walked a trail on Vancouver Island, reading the information board warning about Cougars and Bears and what to do if confronted by one.

We have a forest along the river where I live and you have to be like a Chameleon. One eye on the ground for snakes one eye ahead and a third would be handy in the back of your head looking out for two legged snakes!:ph34r::lol:

Lovely shots, Martyn. And it seems to be a good choice of plane for longer distances, as it has found its way from Alaska to Queensland!

Thanks Gerold. It looks good from this quick first flight but time is tight at the moment to look into trying to fly it properly.;)

A long way from from Alaska indeed, it followed me home!:o

    A simple plane for a simple flyer!

In my small 2020 hangar I hadn't got a plane to cover larger distances higher and faster.

So I bought this to add an extra dimension to my attempts at flying.:P

It looks good from up there which is why I splashed out on this plane.

Cheap and quite nasty but they are working on it!

  6. I can remember very thick fogs when I was young back in the late 50s, living on the SW edge of London. Also I can remember seeing public service ads on the tv asking people to limit burning coal fires to try and avoid the smog.:o

I hadn't passed my driving test very long and I drove home one night at walking pace as the fog was so thick. That was in Bournemouth in 1974.:P

Here in Victroria a 100 yard visibility mist is a thick pea souper.

Anyway Carlos that is a great image.:)
