I went there on a summer holiday initially with my friends, the best part of 20years ago -  and was offered a job working in a Scottish/Rangers FC Supporters bar, that we had been drinking in every night. 

I wasn't enjoying my course at university at the time, so i went home from my holiday and turned straight back around....with the intention of staying for 3months - and stayed for almost 3 years.

Exactly my thoughts as the procession went past on it's way to Windsor.

I think there are only 2 flights to Sydney a day with DHC-8-300s, so it must have just left. I see the Dash 8s regularly cruising over where I live.

I went mad on the last sale and bought all of the Hawiian airports on offer and the two I have seen so far are first class inside and out.

I spent 6 days on Oahu and it was stunning so if you get the chance I recommend it. The highlight was Pearl Harbour and there is an excellent aviation museum on Ford Island that even has an RAAF F111!
