Over Lombok, heading towards Mount Rinjani with its interesting Crater Lake

Segara Anak is a crater lake in the caldera that was formed during a volcanic eruption in 1257 next to Mount Rinjani on Lombok Island in Indonesia. The volcanic cone Gunung Barujari (which you can see below in the picture) is at the eastern end of the lake, 2,004 metres (6,575 ft) above sea level. The lake covers an enormous 45 square kilometres (17 sq mi), and has a maximum depth of 230 m (750 ft).

The small Pulau Sangeang Island has two active volcanos: Doro Api (1,949 m or 6,394 ft) and Doro Mantoi (1,795 m or 5,889 ft high)

We have reached our destination Labuan Bajo, a fishing town located at the western end of the large island of Flores in the Nusa Tenggara region of east Indonesia. Bajo is the gateway for trips across the nearby Komodo National Park to Komodo Island and Rinca Island, both home to the famous Komodo dragons.

Fantastic flight in a classy bird. Good that you managed the engines temperature…

Thanks a lot, Gerold. I'm really happy to have this bird now in MSFS, and in a really good quality. Finally I can lay the old FS9 to FSX to MSFS converted freeware one from O. Fischer to rest :)

  5. Excellent screenies, Steve, and I understand where you come from. For my part, I'll think I stick to MSFS, although I have all TE sceneries for both P3D and XP11. It is just too convenient to be able to hop to any corner of this world and have it in TE quality. For this convenience I am willing to accept some of the shortcomings of MSFS :)
