I appear to have an issue with the London Landmarks add on. If I configure it WITHOUT the UK World update then the sim loads a flight fine. However, if I configure with the UK update - which is of course installed - then I get the widely reported problem of the flight never loading, the blue progress bar advances but even after several minutes the flight never begins.
Same here, I have all WU's installed and was getting the same issue as you, I went into the marketplace and WU's 1, 2 and 3 are no longer installed, I am re-installing these 3 WU's now to see if that fixes it.

Just tested, my performance increase is very slight, testing at the same airport/aircraft, I'm seeing about a 3-4 FPS increase, I have everything on ultra though, time to test all my addons and see what works or need updates

i think there must be server issues: it’s downloading at a ridiculously slow speed.. not my broadband speed at all
Yeah I think the servers are taking a battering, I’m on 8gb after 3 hours. I just want to get on and test my performance

I got the MS store update just fine but the Sim update is not going to happen anytime soon . Servers are crashing right now .
Same, just spend 2 hours just trying to get the download to start

Both pictures are amazing, and imo the southwest livery suits the CRJ

I love the Caribbean for flying, something about the really light blue sea that's so nice compared to Europe, I would love more Caribbean airports such as Nassau/VC Bird etc. On a similar note, I would love to see Pago Pago be recreated or airports in the Hawaiian Island chain, basically anywhere tropical

Personally for me who strives for the most realism, the scenery as Michael says is the biggest draw, when we can couple this with the high fidelity aircraft, GSX and the various FS2Crew modules, I would say it'll be by far the most realism I've had since starting on FS2002.
I don't have any massive dislikes, just 'improvements', for one the weather system has been slightly iffy this weekend, so either it needs to be made 'perfect' all the time or the engine opened to 3rd party devs. Also I like to see old FSX features added back like tower/fly-by views, and also they need an option so the logbook stops popping up at the end of a flight

Yes, a MSFS version is on the 2021 Roadmap

Just wondering when we'll start seeing AS products in direct? Thanks

For me there are already some more reasons to visit OZ. If only it would be allowed some day…
Yeah, I agree, admittedly I have a small obsession with Oz, so many reasons why I want to visit/move, plus I have close family who moved there, any say life down under is much better than the UK

Nice, I can't wait

The Olympics gives a good reason to visit AU, although I hope to visit or even move before 2032

@JLD95 @shinkicker444 Try this as it's to do with nav data, It worked for the guy I suggested it to, as far as I'm aware, anything to do with nav data is not Orbx's issue as I had it with FSDTs KORD, it's an issue with the base sim, where airports have had runways opened and closed since the sim released I believe.

Looks great, will it be released for P3D though?
I highly doubt it, none of the other packs are, never say never though

Hope we might see a few airports in India and Sri Lanka too.
100% agree, I think it may be slightly harder getting the right data/imagery but I always hope we'll see more in areas that are not Western Europe/North America

Never a doubt from a lot of people, just a shame a minority abuse developers hard work

Many issues, for NRP, no SIDs available for NPR, I have to pay Navigraph to update the nav data.
I personally have never seen a add-on airport come with up to date nav data, so I don't see this being Orbx's fault, that be said follow the steps in the topic below, this is geared for Navigraph users but I hope it will work for non-navigraph users as well, just move Orbx's YBBN between the “fs-base” line and the “fs-base-nav” line in your content.xml file. Hopefully this works as well for people not using navigraph

Just for transparency this was the full reply, someone asked if the jetways at ESGG would ever come alive,
"Yep, we have animated them even though current SDK does not really allow it. It's sort of a work around but very proud of what our dev was able to make. Was the same in FSX and P3D as well, luckily SODE came and gave us an option to add it that way instead.
It will be patched once Bromma is released, together with ESMS as well.
No working VDGS at the moment though"
I'm not sure about what can/cannot be done but at least animated jetways are coming, also Jo who created Trondheim, he does a lot of stuff I haven't see other devs do yet like the animated people at Bonaire

Just an fyi the dev of malmo and gothenburg is aware that the jetways can now be animated and has said he will go back and animate them as they couldn't be on release
-
As far as I am aware airport developers don't have control over if navdata works or not, and can't unlock the issue. That being said I may have a solution as the same issue occurred at FSDT KORD.
Follow these steps and it should work, https://forum.navigraph.com/t/no-stars-into-kord/3939/6, if not let me know, and maybe there's another fix

One thing to note about jetways is they are current nowhere as near easy to control as they are in P3D, realistically MSFS needs SODE ASAP (and this is why only singular jetways can be operated). I haven't bought YBBN so I can't comment about the quality, so maybe the upper deck jetway needs lowering, maybe not. From my POV, there is a A380 in development but who knows how long it'll take to arrive, it be nice to have 3 operational jetways but it depends on a lot of things, from Asobo as well

The statics are a long standing issue, there's currently no way to remove them as it stands, or have an option in a control panel. As for the ground equipment, I'm guessing your trying to summon them through the ATC menu, I've heard the issue is to do how the parking spots are labelled in the AFCAD, anyway, I recommend using a freeware program such as pushback tool, this should fix the issue, and is what I use (until GSX arrives)
-
Donovan, GSX by FSDreamteam is currently in development for MSFS, from my POV, GSX is the add-on I'm missing the most from P3D and am eagerly waiting for (sadly it seems it might be years end before it's release),
GSX does most of the ideas you thought off, and I know once it releases for MSFS they are going to add new features over time.
If Orbx created their own version of GSX, that would no doubt create some competition

Just want to apologise for my posts today surrounding MSFS/P3D, I am aware I am very opinionated and couple with other personal issues, I realise I probably came across combative.
Sorry for if I offended anyone, I honestly believe in 2021 we are in the best place we have ever been in flight sim, with 3 amazing sims that will hopefully continue to improve and therefore push each other to better places and that we see support from 3rd party devs across all 3 platforms. I know I am part of the issue but I do hope eventually we'll see sim debates ending as all 3 can defiantly be used together.

MSFS 2020 update time
in Microsoft Flight Simulator
Posted
I didn't have that exactly,
I had the 600mb starter and then a 45GB update because it had to reinstall all the default aircraft/deluxe airports etc.
