GEOMORG
Today I did a clean install of FSX-SE on a new hard drive (previously it was in C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/FSX now it's in D:/Steam/steamapps/common/FSX). I installed all my addons and I was installing the global base. But it did not ask for my FSX root directory and started to install everything to C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/FSX although this directory didn't exist (and so it created one). I had no option to select the actual directory. All of the installation files were on D:.
Nick Cooper
You need to amend the registry entry to reflect the new location to which you have moved FSX. You can do this using the FSX Registry Utility which you can find here http://www.tweakfs.com/store/free_tools.php
