CBris
I saw a film recently that showed the "Schulgleiter" and a few Baby Gronaus - original German footage in 1930s manner - black and white, bungee launches, hauling the gliders back up the hill with a tracked tractor... The oldest gliders I flew were the slingsby Swallow and an Olympia. They had a Schulgleiter and/or a Gronau Baby at RAF Bicester in the 80's - but there was a waiting list.I'd love to have been privileged to have flown one of these though. Gorgeous! Good vid too.
