How to take high resolution screenshots in P3D?

Do a search for Dynamic Super Resolution (DSR). It only kicks in when in full-screen mode, so I normally fly in window/maxed view at my native resolution (1920 x 1200) then pause and switch to full screen to take the shot.

You can set the DSR factor right up to 4x. On my system, my regular 1920/1200 9Mb screenshot becomes 3840 x 2400 (36Mb).

It's a real performance killer, but I only flip into it when grabbing that final shot. The (massive) screenshot can then be scaled down to your final size. If you use a decent GFX program the interpolation has four times the information to work with and gives you slightly better detail.

It even improves the on-screen quality slightly. Sounds illogical/impossible, but it does - as the GFX card is doing exactly the same sort of interpolation, but in real time (hence the performance hit).

Adam.

EDIT: I have FRAPS, but use it only for videos. For all my screenshots, I use the regular "V" key.
