ACTIVE FTX Vector unable to locate "scenery.cfg" FSX Steam

Hello folks, 

 

After many attemps, it seems like I finally correctly installed FTX Global Base (as there is a green check-mark in the FTX Central app.) 

This is because I renamed my FSX-SE folder to simply FSX.  [This is located under AppData/Microsoft]

 

Now I want to install FTX Global Vector, but I'm getting the same error "Cannot locate scenery.cfg" and I cannot rename FSX-SE to FSX as a second folder has been created. (Now SE as well as FSX)...

 

Does anyone have a solution to correctly installing FTX Global onto Steam (after uninstalling boxed FSX)?

Unfortunately I have created the above account (Geva_S) before purchasing the FTX Global Products, and I could not find a way to add my order number to that account. 

 

I am now replying to you from a newly-created account that DOES have my order number  

 

Seems like my installation issue was the error "Cannot locate scenery.cfg"...

Hopefully an administrator will see this and delete your

first account.

 

The answer lies in the topic I have linked to below, you need first to configure

FSX Steam correctly, after that the installers will work as they should.

It's a simple edit of the registry.
