seaking
Having completely remove both version of fsx from my system and cleared the registry of all I could find for FSX entries. I have now managed to install EU England into FSX steam but when I try to install EU Wales I get the error message "Another program is currently using this file" and installation fails.I the tried to install NZ South to test and this loaded ok. Is this a registry problem or one-off file corruption?
Nick Cooper
Often it is because anti virus software is unnecessarily checking each file as it is installed. If you have such software, please disable real time checking while you are installing products.
seaking
Thanks for input Nick but it made no difference. I then tried to install NZ North with the same result.Could there be an entry somewhere in system from my old FSX folder??

Nick Cooper
Also you must first unzip the downloaded folder before running the installer. Otherwise, I am afraid I am out of ideas.
Guest
Be sure to have a rig free of malware or viruses. When system is infected, some files can be hold by them preventing any change by the current windows user
