ridinroun
Switching to an intel system seems to change a lot of things (for the better) in the sim. One thing I discovered is when I have wideview false and use fullscreen on my 3 monitors I have zero stretching and blurs. When I move back with EZDOK, I'm behind the seat before I have a decent view of my gauges in front of me. Zoom to .30 is not good enough. Is there a way in the .cfg to lower that to .20 or .10? I have found Initial zoom in the .cfg for both fsx and ezca but changing the values has had no effect.
MarkH
when I have wideview false...Zoom to .30 is not good enough. Is there a way in the .cfg to lower that to .20 or .10? Set WideViewAspect to True and you will get what you want. To convert zoom factors between WVA=True and WVA=False you need to multiply or divide by the aspect ratio of your display (Width / Height). In other words, for the zoom factors you quoted: 0.3 --> 0.3 x (Width / Height) 0.2 --> 0.2 x (Width / Height) 0.1 --> 0.1 x (Width / Height) etc. You don't say what resolution you are running at so I can't do the sums for you! If you are using EZCA you do not need to muck about with CFG files, EZCA views will save the zoom you set.
ridinroun
Thanks for the reply. My resolution is 5760x1080. I'm using 3 24" monitors.
MarkH
Thanks for the reply. My resolution is 5760x1080. I'm using 3 24" monitors. Then for 0.2 you need to set 1.1, for 0.1 you would set 0.5.
