Tri
I have FSX:SE installed at C:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX When fire up the installer for FTX Trees HD, installer assumes the path is at D:\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX (note drive D, there are no FSX folder at D:\Steam\steamapps\common) it then proceeds to create the FSX folder in D drive I cannot manually change or point to the correct FSX:SE folder. Please fix installer. Many thanks.
Nick Cooper
It is not an assumption, the installer is reading what is written in your Windows Registry. I expect that you have at some stage installed FSX Steam to the location on your D drive. You will need to download a registry editor and amend the entry to suit the current location. You can find one at the bottom of the FTX Support page.
Tri
I tried the free registry fix tool but did not fix the issue. It still fixed to D drive. When I loaded Registry Tool it correctly identifies FSX is at C drive.
Nick Cooper
Try the Registry tool from this page http://www.tweakfs.com/store/free_tools.php and be sure to tick the "Add to current user" box before you run it.
