Rob Newman Posted April 15, 2015 Share Posted April 15, 2015 What you are actually seeing is the shadows as captured on the background aerial photography. HD Trees (nor any other orbx trees) have any shadows attached, unless you run P3D and turn vegetation shadows on. Even then you would still see this captured ground shadow as well as the computer generated cast shadow. Unfortunately, there is not much can be done about it... The best photography available was used for all products and there are some big differences between that quality in different parts of the world.
