ludo1426 Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Hello, I'm a big fan of ORBX product. I have bought yesterday NA KSQL and have installed it. I also have - Northern California - Pacific Northwest - Central Rockies And also : - KBZN - Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport - KJAC - Jackson Hole Airport - 0S9 - Jefferson County International.... Everything works well appart KSQL. The problem is this : When I choose NA in FTX Central, and start P3D on KSQL Airport, when charging "Air, land and sea traffic" I have an error and the message "P3D must close". If I change and I put Global (with hybrid or without hybrid) on FTX Central and start P3D on KSQL Airport, than it works. Maybe you could have any solutions... I can fly on NA Regions with hybrid mode. I don't think their is a big difference if I choose hybrid or if I choose NA Region on FTS Central, no ? I have P3D v.2.5 Waiting for your answer. Ed Correia Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Hi Ludovic, There shouldn't be any issues with KSQL & NCA running together. Few things to check, make sure you have the latest Orbxlibs installed as well as the NCA patch. I would also disable all AI traffic as well. Let us know how you go. (FTX Central v.2 tell me that's all the ORBX sceneries I have are update). KRDD (California) works well on my P3D. I really don't know what's the matter with KSQL and NA Region selected... Do you think there is a big difference on NA sceneries on my P3D between the Hybrid mode and FTX NA Region selected ? Ed Correia Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 That's not normal, so let's see if we can fix it Can you please go to the Orbx\Scripts folder and compare the contents of the these files in the custom.na and custom.gb_hybrid folders: default.xml and *.spb files They should be identical. If not, copy the ones from the custom.gb_hybrid to the custom.na one. Start FTX Central and cycle between Global and North America a couple of times making sure to Apply in between If the files are identical we need to explore other avenues. I have copy the default.xml from custom.gb_hybrid to Custom.na and change FTX Central to NA and and the problem came Again. So I came back to Hybrid mode and it works perfectly again. So I deleted the one from custom.na and replace it by the one from custom.gb_hybrid. But still have the same problem. Concerning *.spb files I don't know witch file it is... Ed Correia Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 Sorry, I didn't mean the actual file contents, but their Modified Date and sizes. The spb file in question mainly is the AutogenDescriptions.spb file. What is the modified date and size (right click the file and select Properties). The Autogendescription.spb were different between the 2 folder (hybrid and .na), so I copy the one from hybrid to .na and the problem is the same. prepar3d close and I have an error message. Ed Correia Posted April 9, 2015 Share Posted April 9, 2015 I'm in Melbourne Australia so am off to work at the moment. Once you copied the spb file over did you select and re-apply the NA region? The fact that they are different indicates that you have something that isn't installed correctly. Please reinstall the NCA patch and the latest Orbxlibs. Once you have done that recycle THE FTX Central regions making sure you apply them. This procedure makes sure that those files are switched the the Autogen folder. The issue that you are having(I suspect) is that KSQL used new autogen buildings and if they correct autogen files are not present it will crash. The above process should fix things.
