MikeFlight
I've installed the new triple installer of NZQN in my P3Dv2.4. Is this correct, that there are no ground shadows on runways and taxiways caused of my own airplane? There are only shadows on grass but not on concrete or asphalt. Adam Banks
I found you have to set at least Lighting/Sim Objects: Cast/Receive for it to work. External vehicle on its own just gives me shadows on the grass areas. I haven't tested this for other airports (as I usually have most of those options enabled anyway) - it could be something to do with the way NZQN in particular does its layering, with there being a large underlying photoreal tile. I don't *really* know what I'm talking about there though . Adam.
MikeFlight
Thank you, Adam :) This has solved the problem. I have changed the settings as follows: Sim Objects: cast and receive. So far the setting was only cast. Thank you very much.
Alex Goff
That's correct, ground polygons fall under SimObjects despite that they are well, on the ground.
