B77X
The library installer is installing a kpsp agn file into one of the default scenery folders. Is that bgl file okay to remove if I do not have palm springs installed?
Jarrad Marshall
G'day David, If you are talking about Westsim_AGN_KPSP.bgl which can be found in your scenery/global/scenery folder, I'd recommend against removing it. This is one of several bgls in this folder that control the custom autogen vegetation types for our various ORBX packages. Whilst the file was designed for KPSP, there may also be other ORBX products which call on these agn types and removing this will cause errors (not to mention likely missing GUID calls). The naming convention is purely to reference the original product it was designed for - the same as you will find ORBX_NCA_AGN_Trees.bgl in the same folder (Northern California region custom veg types). Is there any particular reason why you want to be removing this file? Cheers, Jarrad
wulfbindewald
If all external Orbx scenery related bgl-files (outside of the the normal FSX/ORBX folder) contain the name "ORBX" or "FTX" then there would be a clear indication for an Orbx related bgl-file. In case of scenery conflicts and problems one might tend to delete wrongly those non-indicated "suspicious" files at first. Wulf
