Hi Burakko,

That problem (black boxes) - (Vector Road Lights in conflict with DX10 Preview Mode) occurs when using the FSX (DX10 Preview Mode) DX10 preview mode is broken and not fully implemented by ACES & MS.

The issue does not occur with DX9 or with the DX10 Fixer. Therefore I suggest, if you intend using DX10 mode exclusively, you should purchase (Steve Parsons (DX10 Fixer) v2.7 at last count, available from FlightSimStore where Orbx products are purchased.

The DX10 Fixer will fix many things within FSX, where the preview mode has many unresolved issues. Make sure you read through Forum Member: Adam_NZ - DX10 Guide, here: http://www.nzfsim.org/  and any documentation found in the Download. I'm sure Adam can point you in the right direction when it comes to DX10 setup/tweaking.

Though I would strongly recommend that you do, you do not have to spend

money on the Dx10 Fixer if all you want to do is fix the FTX lights.

There is a free download at the Avsim library which achieves the same effect.

The flie name is shader_release_v3.2.3.zip.

This link will only work if you are already logged into the library.

Having monitored your previous problems, I would also direct you to

the Frequently Asked Questions section of this forum

and the Dx10 Discussion section.

Hi Burakko,

Nick Cooper's recommendation to use the Free version is an excellent idea, (I completely forgot about that one), I just tried looking up the DL version on FSS but could not find it either. My humble apologies, question is where can one DL the latest PW version.

Do you know where it can be found Nick, just asking! I'm quite happy with DX9 myself.
