FSX Stutter/Intermittent freeze after latest FTX install.

Hi there!

I have a frustrating issue.

I recently got caught up on installing the freeware (NA) airport packs (9 through 20)

I also purchased and installed KTVL Lake Tahoe and Monument Valley.

Last, installed latest libraries.

I now have an annoying stutter/freeze every few minutes when flying anywhere in NA.

I have spent the last week running through the whole gamut of diagnostics to no avail.

Tonight I switched back to default in FTX Central and the stutters have stopped.

Any one else run into this or have any suggestions?

Cheers!

I don't have Global Base yet.

I always thought the Global freeware airport packs were designed to work only with FTX Global Base,,,I wonder if that is causing your problems? In my mind FTX Global Base is the main foundation of the sim, I can't imagine not having it installed first and foremost. :)

Cheers

Doug

Pete, I do have UTX, I will try that.

I plan to purchase FTX Global, might as well uninstall all of UTX when I do.

Doug, you could be right, but if my memory is correct the first airport packs came out long before FTX Global.

I have had the first packs installed for a long time now.

Thanks gentlemen, I'll let you know how I make out.

Cheers

Actually...Global base was released in July/2013 and the first Global freeware NA pack was released Sept/2013. :)
