Holger Sandmann
Hi there, all of the North American FTX regions include their own custom water color/type files, which enables us to more accurately depict local differences in water colors, like silt-laden rivers, turquoise glacial lakes, reefs, etc. Those placement files need to end somewhere offshore and that's the boundary you're seeing. Whether there is an obvious boundary or not depends on whether you're using global water color replacements, like REX, and which specific themes. Unfortunately, there's no way to gradually blend custom textures into whatever default or replacement one may have active so for some people the outer extent of our files will be more visible than for others. Cheers, Holger
