1flight1
I'm not sure if you can help me with this but I installed P3D on a new computer and starting with FS Global 2010 proceeded to install all of my Orbx products. Right after intallation of FS Global at P3D startup I receive this message: "SCENERY.CFG file error. Local scenery directory (F: \FSGX2010\afr\SCENERY) in scenery Area. 108 not found. Click OK to continue." Clicking OK takes me into the program without any problem. The scenery.cfg file shows this: [Area.108]Title=South AmericaLocal=Scenery\SAMELayer=108Active=TRUERequired=FALSE and the directory it points to is in the Scenery folder. I can't find any link anywhere between scenery Area. 108 and FSGX2010. I installed all of my Orbx products and aside from this annoying message everything works beautifully. Does anyone have any idea how I can fix this? Thanks in advance.
Nick Cooper
The message is telling you that P3D is looking for a folder at F:\FSGX2010\afr\SCENERY and cannot find it. If you navigate to that location in Windows File Explorer, I expect that you will be able to confirm that it is not there. If you do find an afr\scenery folder somewhere else, you will need to locate the correct Scenery library entry and edit it to point to the actual location. I suspect also that you are not checking the correct scenery.cfg file. I don't have P3D but I think you need to look for C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D\scenery.cfg Alternatively, you can use the P3D library to look for it. Jack the Swede in Spain
The scenery.cfg for P3D to us is C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\scenery.cfg Delete the entry in scenery.cfg and reinstall FSGX2010 if necessary.
