B77X
Does the day/night switcher still do anything? Is it only for the Orbx regions?
Tim Harris
it still works for any Orbx airports not yet switched over the the FTXglobal lighting
Ezio Cingolani
So if you have FTXGlobal lighting the day/night switcher is definitely obsolete ? Is that right ? I mean, I have FTXG installed but I fly mainly in Europe with no Orbx scenery installed. In this case I can remove the day/night tool. Can you confirm ? ThanksĀ
Wolter van der Spoel
as Tim already mentioned, not all is switched over to the new lighting system the Team is working on that, hence the day/ night switcher is not obsolete ...............yet
Ezio Cingolani
OK...thanks.. Regards
Tim Harris
There is no requirement for the end-user to do anything with it, like I said , some Orbx airports are yet to be switched over to the newer system, and for these airport it still applies, but in your case (no airports) there is no need to do anything, the tool while it looks 'fancy' does nothing other than swap between two library files
