NeilG
Dear all I've installed most of my files into P3D, no problems encountered. I'm now trying to put them into FSX as well. haven't done this before and up until now have only installed into FSX, but I understood that it should be possible to install into FSX and P3D on same HDD, and to install my ORBX sceneries into both at the same time. Am I wrong in this assumption? It seems that the installer is having trouble creating an ORBX file in FSX to act as home for the sceneries as it were. an error tab to that effect comes up and at the same time no FTX central is created. Hope you can help. thanks all Neil
Holger Sandmann
Hi Neil, yes, you can use the triple installers for both FSX and P3D and on the same harddrive. You don't mention the specific error message but it could be either an issue with access permissions or the registry. Our installers rely on your Windows registry to determine the location of your FSX main folder. If there's a discrepancy that means your registry entries for FSX are incorrect and should be fixed with one of the available freeware tools; see https://www.fullterrain.com/freeware (at the bottom of the page) or http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library or http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/FSX-Registry-Utility-Download-74741.html Cheers, Holger
