jbsheridan
Hi there. I don't know the name for what is going on but after updating the libraries and some terrain sceneries, anywhere I fly in FTX, there is water amongst the buildings like in San Francisco or Hobart, Tasmania and or weird textures everywhere? Everything was working fine until I Installed the Tasmanian Demo and patched and updated things. Also, I have two FTX Global icons in the FTX Central. Also, I get a warning notice about something not handling something and if I click continue it will continue in spite of that. How do I fix my FTX? Sincerely, JB
John Dow
Updating the ORBXLibs normally fixes FTX Central problems. Maybe reinstall the packages noting if FTX Central needs to be set to Global or not?
jbsheridan
I have just tried uninstalling all ORBX addons to get back to FSX default. I followed the directions in relevent posts for uninstalling. I have the default textures back, but large areas of the sim are still covered with water, and trees and houses are sticking up out of the water. Also there is flickering of some objects. Can you give me any help on repairing this problem back to clean default FSX? I really do not want to have to reinstall FSX and all of my addons from scratch. Thank you. Alex Goff
Hi JB, Try this guide: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/79004-resolving-rapid-ground-texture-morphing/ For the future, if you have duplicate icons in FTX Global reinstalling the latest libraries will fix it.
