Another FTX frozen unhandled exception problem

I read and followed the post by Stratto with this problem and applied the NET repair and also re-installed orbxlibs to no avail.

This problem occurred at the end of installing GLOBAL where it opens FTX which then

froze with the error message.

Will await your reply. Thank You

Philis message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi Ed,

Wow, thanks for the lightening response. Did as requested and all seems to work well. Problem solved.

Two questions: Orbx Base does not show up in the scenery library, is this normal? Also do I need to remember this fix on a re-install or if this issue occurs again?

Thank you very much.

Phil

Hi Ed,

I thought my problem had been fixed but on further exam I see when FTX Central is open all I have is a Default Icon and the North America icon for the NA blue scenery that is installed.

No where can I find Global Base to indicate it is now installed. Something isn't right. Please advise when you have time. Thank You.

Hi, could you please try this, go to ORBX\Scripts\FTXCentral\Regions and delete the LastAppliedConfig.ftx file

I had the same issue when installing FTX England, and this solved it for me! Thank you Ed! Hopefully this fix can be included in a future patch.
