coolgovind180
I am planning to buy FTX global vector and would like to know how much harddisk space is required for installation? I have already installed FTX global bas eand the patches released. I hope that is the only requisite. Thanking you govind

coolgovind180
Hi, My Vector directory shows 5.77GB. Respectfully, Brian Thanks a lot brian...!! around 6GB is fine! and also..did u find a significant difference between with and without vector?? Also only prerequisite is FTX global base rite?? did u also note any drop in frame rates after install?
bdrichmond
Evening, I noticed no impact in frame rates in P3D2. Granted there are issues floating around, but the Vector/Base package is a winner in my book. Base is the only requirement for Vector, but a good terrain mesh package is recommended. You won't need one immediately, but will wonder how you got along without it once you buy one. In the beginning I used the FSGenesis package for FSX, as I had a copy already. It worked fine while I saved up for the Global 2010 FTX Compatible version. Orbx says their scenery designers use the Global mesh, so I figured I'd get the one they were rebuilding the World on. coolgovind180
Thank you Brian for the guidance....issues floating around?? What do u mean by this?? Also is the default mesh not enough?? I can't spend on a mesh since I am also planning to buy open lc...vector, I have to say is over expensive!!
