Chandy
Hi, guys. I have been having heaps of difficulties since loading Vector but for the moment seem to have them sorted (I hope). However the remaining problem is that I'm getting a message when I use FTX Central telling me that the following file doesn't exist: D:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\Global\Texture\BridgeRoads.dds When start FSX I get pop-ups which I have to clear before it will let me proceed: SCENERY CFG. file error. Local scenery directory (ORBX\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\SCENERY) area .003 not found and . SCENERY CFG. file error. Local Scenery directory (ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\SCENERY) in scenery Area .100. not found Now I know why the last two pop-up messages are there, and that is because I have removed them (holding them in abeyance in my waster basket (due to original problems) What I would like to know is how to get my BridgeRoads .dds back The other two I can bring back myself, I think. I hope you can help me. Regards, John G
Holy Cheese
BridgeRoads.dds gets removed when you uninstall UTX. Suggest you re-install it, make a copy of the file and save it somewhere, then uninstall UTX again and drop the saved BridgeRoads.dds back in. Chandy
The link didn't work (a '403' error), however I just reloaded UT Europe X and then reloaded Vector and everything is back to normal. Thanks for the replies, guys. John G
