Problem when starting FTX central: FSX file does not exist?

Hi

I'm new here and I just bought my first FTX product "FTX global base" for FSX.

Installing was no problem but when I start up FTX central I get following message in a popup window.

Region Files Validation Report

Custom Files Validation Report
FSX file does not exist.
C:\FSX\Autogen\default.xml

Also when I apply FTX global region in the central  I get this message: "FTX Global was applied but with errors" and in the region Files report I get "Apply region error report.
FSX File does not exist: C:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\Custom.gb_base\default.xml"

Any idea how to solve this problem?

My system runs on Windows 8.

Thanks for the help!

Geert

I experience the same problem and I have not yet found a solution.

The message - "FSX File does not exist: C:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\Custom.gb_base\default.xml" - is not true! This file is existing and located in this folder!

It is just missing in the FSX\Autogen folder.

The error message disappears when I copy the  "Custom.gb_base\default.xml" file to the FSX\Autogen folder, but my FSX is crashing.

Hi guys,

The listing of default.xml indicates that either you don't have a copy of that default autogen file in your {FSX} \Autogen folder or our \ORBX\Scripts\Backup folder is missing. If the latter then installing the latest Orbx Libraries from https://www.fullterrain.com/support.html#orbxlibs will fix the error message.

Hi Holger,

Thanks for the reply!

Problem has been solved for me! ^-^
Seems my "default.xml" has the name "defaultold.xml" in the fsx\autogen folder??
I don't know why? Maybe because of some tweaking in the past but anyway I chanced the name again to "default.xml" and no errors came up this time!

Cheers, Geert from Belgium
