pphibbs
Hi Guys, Thought I'd see AU RED a different way and took off from Adelaide, fixed my gaze out the window at the changing landscape and marvelled at the gradual change in terrain and colour. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics but as I got my first glimps of the Rock, out of the mist that Active Sky provided, I just had to take some shots and here they are. You can see the Rock in the background to the right. Thanks Orbx Team for another impressive product.

Dexter Dog
Really like that 1st pic especially, with the rock appearing out of the mist! Great shots! I wonder if they ever get that sort of weather at times? (Anybody know?)
pphibbs
Regarding the weather. I was using Active Sky to pick up the real world weather. I was flying at night even though the shots were taken in daylight. Maybe that has somthing to do with the misty skys. I also noted that there was broken cloud cover for most of the leg, viewed from FL140, which surprised me. Maybe it is a wet season.
