Tomesk
I recently bought FTX Global to try with Prepar3d v2. I have FSX running with a bunch of orbx regions and airports. If I try to install FTX Global into Prepar3d v2 will a new FTX Central be created exclusive to Prepar3d? I don't want to mess up my FSX install. Thanks for any info. Holy Cheese
Yes, Prepar3D gets its own FTX Central clearly labelled that it's for P3D, so no problems. Cheers Jack

pmb
Hi, I have P3D1.4 installed and intend to use it for some time to come (no FSX). In addition, I'll get P3D2.0 around Cristmas, but I will only install addons being marked as compatible. Will P3D2.0 get a separate FTX central? I understand FTX central writes into the simulator (landclass + scenery config): Given most of the ORBX scenery not yet being P3D2.0 ready, I suspect I might wish different settings (insertions points etc) for both simualtors. Thanks for any reply, Michael
Friedi Gulder
every Sim has his own folder, his own path into Registry, his own FTX Central. When software is released for P3D you have 3 Click Boxes in the installer
pmb
Thanks Friedhelm, this makes sense. This way I expect two FTX Central after installing ORBX sceneries into both simulators. Kind regards, Michael
Friedi Gulder
Yes Michael, klick the FTX Central'slbutton with right, open the "Eigenschaften" and see the path.
pmb
That's correct, I see, however, perhaps you better rename them on the Desktop into FTX Central P3D1 vs. FTX Central P3D2 to not mix them up. Kind regards, Michael
