glasklar
When I select to use North America I can't disable the box Vector Road Lights. I can untick the box, but when I press Apply, the box change again to enable. In Oceania and Europe it works fine. Regards, Heinz
glasklar
No idea, why I can't disable the box Vector Road Lights in FTX Central when using region North America? Regards, Heinz
glasklar
Am I the only one to have this problem? Can really nobody help me? I wish to deactivate Vector Road Lights for FPS reasons. I hope to increase the performance this way. Regards, Heinz
Holger Sandmann
Hallo Heinz, the vector road lights checkbox only affects the FTX Global vector lights (those attached to FSX default roads) and wasn't implemented for the North America region, which uses its own vector lights. Moreover, the FTX Global vector lights don't impact frame rates and thus deactivating them is unlikely to make any difference. If you want to deactivate the region's vector lights (which reduce fps somewhat) then you can use the FTX Day/Night switching options as explained in the region's manuals. We'll deliver updates for the North America and other regions in early 2014 that will implement FTXG-style night lighting and thus generally improve frame rates in Seattle, Vancouver, and other large urban areas. Cheers, Holger
