DeeJay
Hi there! Are there already any experiences with the "SteveFX - DX10 scenery fixer" that was recently released? I mean experiences with the ORBX sceneries (which I remember are not compatible with the "standard" DX10 preview mode??), but also generally with the current most popular products in FSX now? AI traffic would be of a special interest to me. I'm thinking about purchasing it, but I don't know what it really improves. BTW: Whenever I use the DX10 preview mode now, any AA settings are gone! I made These settings with the NVidia inspector, but the DX10 mode seems to be resistant on that. How do all those People get those amazing graphics in the DX10 mode? Cheers, Dominik
Dibidut
Hi Dominik. You have to dig deeper in the Forums.: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/forum/171-dx10-discussion/ Kind regards Henrik
Nick Cooper
...and perhaps visit the two DX10 specific forums at Avsim. Lots of facts there and less opinion. The key advantage is that FSX uses less virtual address space than it does in Dx9 and is therefore less susceptible to out of memory errors. Regards, Nick.
