sean3921
Hi, I just downloaded and installed FTX Global, but it isn't showing up in FTX Central. I only see "Default FSX" and "North America" as my options. During the installation, when I click on "Finish" in the "Orbx - FTX Global Wrapper" dialog box, nothing happens. The User Guide states that I should be prompted to run FTX Cental, and then should be presented with an opening screen, but nothing is happening. Any idea what the issue is? Wolter van der Spoel
Could you show us a screenshot of your ORBX folder
sean3921
Sure, please see below: http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2013/10/03/zlVnW.png
Wolter van der Spoel
you have the PNW Demo installed + Darrington + some freeware fields installed there, I think the PNW Demo is causing the issue, it is stated that when installing the full region it needs to be uninstalled first, I get the suspicion that the same applies when installing FTX=Global but I am not sure, you could use that approach, uninstall the PNW Demo and take it from there
sean3921
I deleted the entire ORBX folder and reinstalled FTX Global, and still nothing is happening (FTX Central is not installing). After the reinstall, the folder structure now looks like this: http://www.fsfiles.org/flightsimshotsv2/images/2013/10/03/ymdUu.png
Ed Correia
You need about 15gb of free space on your system's hard drive to run this installer. To me it looks as though you are closing the wrapper screen before the actual installer has completed. Did you see the screen where you are prompted to back up tour default textutes? sean3921
Yup, that was the problem - I only had 9GB of free space. I freed up some space and reinstalled it, and it worked perfectly. Thanks!
