mikee
I am keep on getting the following message as i am trying to run fsx: scenery.cfg file error , local scenery directory (ORBX\FTX_OLC\OLC_NA1\SCENERY) in scenery Area.295 not found. I have no idea what is going on! Any help will be much appreciated! Thank you, Mike
Nick Cooper
It means that the folder ORBX\FTX_OLC\OLC_NA1\SCENERY is not where the scenery.cfg is telling FSX to look. Look for it in your Orbx folder in the main FSX folder. If it's not there, you may need to search for it or re-install the product. Nick Cooper
Frankly, I don't know the answer to that, as I have only the free demo for North America. As the entry is in your scenery.cfg file, I wonder if the folder is still on your PC but has been moved, all too easy to do by mistake. I am assuming that OLC stands for open land class and NA for North America. My FTX_OLC folder contains files for OLC_AA, OLC_EU1 and OLC_NA1. Is the entire FTX_OLC folder missing or just OLC_NA1? If only OLC_NA1 is missing, search your PC for that, if the whole folder is missing, I suggest you search your PC for FTX_OLC If you do find the missing one, put it back where it should be. If you don't find it, you will need to rely on FTX staff to advise you. If all else fails, you could remove the scenery.cfg entry and FSX will stop looking for the missing files.
