BradB
Hi Ian , here is what I am seeing using UTX and Global . The first two around Great Falls and the last three north of Lewistown . I also had Hybrid mode ticked . Good luck to you , I hope you can get it figured out . Brad
macca22au
Mine has gone pear shaped when I see such great scenery. I've screwed something up. Is there an uninstaller for Global, and even GEX before hand. I can't locate these.
BradB
I know they are working on the uninstaller for global but nothing yet . As I understand GEX is not compatible with Global , that might be where your problem is . I am sure some one from Orbx will chime in fairly soon . Wolter van der Spoel
did you try and disable UTX see if the problem persists ? did you try and switch to another region and then back to Global ?
macca22au
Wolter, thanks, but this is what I did. I reinstalled Global over the top of the existing installation. When I discovered the Great Lakes had disappeared, I reinstalled UTX Canada and USA - again over the top of the existing installations. Now the scenery display is close to perfect. Some comments on forums suggest that Global can affect other parts of the installation and that has been my experience. Also my P3D default textures are long gone, and I will not get them back until I can do a clean reinstall of the game. (and its really theoretical anyway without an Uninstaller). PS I uninstalled GEX before installing Global ... I think
