GOKBUY Posted August 19, 2013 Share Posted August 19, 2013 Hi, I installed FTX Global, as only addon, on a brand new installed FSX from the beginning. Look at the photos of the results i get, totally corrupted scenery. Can somebody help me to solve this problem out I used to use all addons perfecly well on the same computer. Tim Harris Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 One thread for your issue please, I have just cleaned up and merged 3 topics, and please also do NOT cross post into other peoples topics. A brand new install of FSX does not look like your pictures, so you have gone wrong somewhere along the way. Did you apply the 2 (two) service packs for FSX, or install Acceleration/GOLD? Tim Harris Posted August 20, 2013 Share Posted August 20, 2013 Hi, Perhaps not everything was uninstalled? take a look at this guide for completely un-installing FSX, and re-installing again http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx Also very important to note is to install FSX into custom location, f.e:... I think the solution finder is also from Turkey and solve the issue by only inserting a line to a cfg file. I am also from Turkey. And i have the same problem. I could not fix it for a long time after a lot of tries of uninstalling everything and re-installing again. Countless of hours and effort is lost. I do the same, and add the line to the instrcuted destination. .This also seems to solve my problem . I think this is specific for installers from Turkey. I made two basic flights at day and night, with some small bugs , everything seems to be okay for now. I recommend you put a general warning for users from Turkey.
